Programs Overview
NEAACC's programs center on Cultural Exchange, Wellness Promotion, and Community Engagement.
Supported by the Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling (CCPG) and the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (CMHAS), NEAACC launched the annual series "Healthy Living • Multicultural Harmony" in 2025. The initiative features:
- Traditional cultural festivals such as the Mid-Autumn and Lunar New Year celebrations
- Youth Kung Fu and self-defense workshops
- Educational seminars on problem gambling prevention and mental wellness
- Family-friendly nutrition and exercise experiences
- Artistic and cultural showcases that encourage cross-community understanding
Through these events, NEAACC aims to strengthen cultural identity, raise public awareness of wellness, and build a more connected and supportive community.
